This blog is being created almost solely for one reason -- the really cool people over at LibraryThing. I just found the site a few days ago and I've already catalogued part of my considerable library. It's fun, nearly free (a lifetime membership for only $25) and provides a great way to find other people who share your interests in books.
Cataloging my library has made me realize how much I like reading books and like talking about books. So I'll use this blog to wax philosophical on all kinds of book-related topics. And maybe a few other things as well.
